I have a non-drinking problem.Jump to Recipe
Cucumber, Sage, and Lemon SipperI love craft beer, from Belgium blondes to chocolatey, drink-me-with-a-donut porters.
Especially a good Malbec.
Lusciously thick with notes of plum and blackberry jam.
Or a made-from-scratch Margarita.
A lip-puckering, adult frosty of salt and lime.
I wish I could drink.
But my migraine brain won’t let me.
So I make this Cucumber, Lemon, and Sage Sipper instead.
And as sweet and low cal as you want it to be.
A non-alcoholic drink made with cucumbers, lemon, and sage. Light and super-refreshing, it's a sweet and low cal as you want it to be.
- 1 cup ice
- 2 cups sparkling water (tap water would be fine)
- 2 cups cucumber
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind
- 2 tablespoons sage (finely chopped)
- 2 teaspoons sweetener of choice (optional)
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until well mixed. Serve over ice and garnish with cucumber or lemon slices and a sprig of sage.
