Soothing hot lemonade drink made with lemon juice, honey or maple syrup, and turmeric.

Ingredients

  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/8th teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons honey (or sub maple syrup)
  • boiling water

Instructions

  • Combine the honey and spices in a coffee mug. Add in the lemon juice and then stir in enough boiling water to fill the mug. (Or less if you want it stronger).
  • Sit quietly and sip slowly.
