Regular readers will know that I like to give alternatives to accommodate different diets. This Cucumber, Lemon, and Sage Sipper is 100% plant-based. Make it suitable for your diet by using your choice of sweetener or none at all.

Cucumber, Lemon, and Sage Sipper
A non-alcoholic drink made with cucumbers, lemon, and sage. Light and super-refreshing, it’s a sweet and low cal as you want it to be.

Ingredients
- 1 cup ice
- 2 cups sparkling water (tap water would be fine)
- 2 cups cucumber
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind
- 2 tablespoons sage (finely chopped)
- 2 teaspoons sweetener of choice (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until well mixed. Serve over ice and garnish with cucumber or lemon slices and a sprig of sage.
